 Nectarines are peaches. They just don't have any fuzz on their skin. Peach trees will sometimes produce a few nectarines spontaneously and nectarine trees will sometimes squirt out a couple of peaches. Nectarines were just an accident that people happened to like, so we figured out how to harness and reproduce these delicious mistakes. |
