 This is the only true 1/2 Plum 1/2 Apricot of the bunch. This has flavor for miles. It is picked bright yellow. Wait until it turns a deeper orange color, then devour. The more orange the more apricoty the texture. The skin looks like a plum but has a super delicate film of apricot fir on it. This crazy piece of fruit was developed by Floyd Zaiger of Zaiger Genetics. Floyd develops fruit for a living and is always experimenting with new ways to cross fruit. His latest is called a "Pecotum" that is soon to be out. It is a Peach Apricot Plum mix. |
